Our Easter was full of egg hunts, dying eggs, and lots of candy! But the most important part is Caleb is starting to understand what Easter is all about. He has begun to understand that Jesus died on a cross and rose again on Easter. And He did this all for us! He loved reading the book "God gave us Easter" over and over again. We love seeing his brain wheels turning and beginning to understand such an important thing!

Walking
Dillon learned how to walk at 13 months and has not stopped moving since. He was so proud of himself and we were proud too!
Two spaghetti monsters!
Happy 1st Bithday Dillon!!!
Dillon turned one on February 5th, 2013. We had a great birthday party for him the weekend before his birthday. We had lots of family, good food and of course presents for him to open. We are thankful for all the family we could celebrate with. Dillon loved eating the frosting off the cake and was in awe of unwrapping all of the presents.
Daddy created a "one" cake for Dillon. It was yummy and cute all at the same time.
Opening presents with big brother's help.
What a cute birthday boy! We are grateful we celebrated Dillon a few days early because a day before his actual birthday, Dillon got admitted to the hospital. He started acting a little sick at his birthday party and got progressively worse over the next day. He woke up at 4 am coughing and breathing hard and by 11 am that day we were admitted to the hospital for asthma. Poor little man had to spend 3 days including his 1st birthday in the hospital. I think it was harder on Ben and me than it was on Dillon. We are thankful for this boy!

First Haircut
This little man was long overdue for his first haircut. His hair had become a little famous being called "Donald Trump and Justin Bieber" hair but it was finally time. On the day of his 1st birthday party, Dillon got to go to Cookie Cutters with his big brother for a hair cut.
Before..
After! Such a ham!

A long, cold, snowy winter
Our 2nd winter back in Iowa since moving back from North Carolina definitely had "Iowa" written all over it! Lots of cold and snowy days. Caleb loved every time it snowed and liked helping Daddy with the driveway.
Dillon loves sneaking in their room and stealing Caleb's "boo" (his pacifers). I caught him in the act!
Loving the spaghetti!
Our cute 11 month old started crawling! Once he figured it out there is no stopping him!
Christmas 2012
Christmas 2012 brought so much joy to our family this year! It was a year of firsts. Dillon's first Christmas, Caleb's first time he was really excited about what was going on, and the first Christmas Lindsay joined our family. Ben and I focused on purely enjoying every little moment and soaking it all up. Christmas is so much greater with little kiddos around! Happy Birthday Jesus!
Christmas at Gaga and Pa's house
Looks like Santa came to our house!
Christmas morning at our house. So much joy!
Daddy made some reindeer pancakes for breakfast and we sang "Happy Birthday, Jesus."
Christmas at Grandma and Papap's house was a little crazy this year. Such a fun crazy with a house full of 7 kids under age 6! Present opening was a bit of a trial but the family being together is so worth it!
Isaac and Caleb continue to be great buddies! Wish I would have gotten more pictures during the Parr's visit but we had a blast! Here is Isaac and Caleb playing playdoh and sharing a chocolate donut.

Caleb's 1st Christmas progam
Caleb's first Christams porgram was so fun! He was a little unsure about what was happening but knew the songs well and had some fun!
Walking in with his class and his teacher, Mrs. Nickles
They sang the songs, "Jesus went to Bethlehem, Go tell it on the mountain, and Away in the Manger"
A birthday party for Jesus complete with cake after the program.
