Trunk or Treat

Our church recently had a Trunk or Treat event on October 24th. The kids got to trick 0r treat from car trunks in the parking lot, play games and enjoy a meal. It turned out to be a fun evening. Our friends, Mark, Kristin, and Eli came to join us.

Our little duck. The costume has a cute hat but Caleb didn't dare wear it.

There was candy and games and lots of people but Caleb spent his time playing in the dirt and trying to eat acorns. His little duck suit was covered in dirt when we left. I guess he had fun!
Okay....I can't say much about these photos. They kind of speak for themselves but the youth did a "hollywood" theme and we were from the "Jersey Shore." We are thankful the orange face paint came off!

A little video of Caleb's new dog noise. Maybe he thinks Mia is a chihuahua.

Enjoy!

Finally Fall

The long, hot summer is finally over! We had a beautiful day of 75 degree weather! Ben, Caleb, and I took advantage of the day and went to Green Level Gourd Farm in Apex, NC. It was a perfect place for small kids. They had animals, tunnels to crawl through, a hay ride, and a playground. It was a fun day. Caleb was so amused by everything around him, it was hard to get a good picture of him looking at me but he definitely had a good time.

Bill's 40th Birthday

Caleb's birthday weekend was also Uncle Bill's 40th birthday celebration. It was great party to celebrate Bill. We are thankful for him.

Happy 1st Birthday!

Our little guy turned 1!! We can't believe it! Here are some facts about Caleb as a 1 year old. He weighs 20.6 lbs (20th percentile), is 30 inches long (55th per.) and is hitting all the developmental milestones according to his doctor. This doctor's visit was the 1st time Caleb could check off everything on the doctor's list. He is walking all over and saying more and more words. He can say; mama, dada, baba, babaaa (bye bye), itty (kitty), doggie, gaga(grandma), and the newest one is du...ck (duck).
We had a birthday party for him last Saturday, September 25th and it turned out great! We cooked out, ate yummy cake, and opened presents. We had friends from church, friends from our small group and alot of family there. We got to celebrate with Grandma and Grandpa Skipton, Grandpap Porter, Great Grandma Porter, Aunt Becki, Cousin Issac, Aunt Barbara, Uncle Bill, Aunt Kelly, and cousins Alec, Billy, and Kevin . We are so thankful that our family got to visit!
