After 20 months and too many crazy hair days...we did it. We cut Caleb's cute blonde curls. The good news is they stayed! Whew! He sat so nicely just licking his lollipop.

A trip to the beach
We are moving back home to Iowa is just over a week! Before we leave we wanted to do one of our favorite NC activities...going to the beach! We love that the beach is 2 hours away. I am pretty sure the Mississippi River is not the same :) so we will miss the beach! Caleb LOVED the beach. He had sand in places we didn't think you could have sand. He ran into the waves with no fear. We had to hold him back! Ben took him out pass the breaking waves and he was laughing so hard despite all the shivering:) It was a perfect day and we enjoyed every moment of it! We ended the day with a trip to the aquarium and a yummy meal at Jack Macreals. What a great day!

Happy Easter!
We had a great trip home for Easter. It was a whirlwind with lots of egg hunts, candy, family, and 2 job interviews. As always, the crazyiness is always worth it. Caleb was one heck of an egg finder. He caught on really fast and after Henry taught him which eggs are good and which ones aren't, he was a pro!
