Caleb loves sweet potatoes! It must be a southern thing. He refused everything we tried to feed him until the sweet potatoes. He even tries to grab the spoon and to get it to his mouth faster. What a breakthrough!

Happy 1/2 year Birthday!!!
Caleb turned 6 months on March 25th. We can not believe he is already 6 months. He had a great 6 month check up at the doctor. He weighs 14 lb 15 oz (24 percentile) and is 26 inches long (50 %). And believe it or not his head is in the 50th percentile! He is doing all the things he needs to be in his developement. He is rolling quickly, sitting for a little while, and always trying to grab the things around him. We have to watch out, he is quick! We have started trying baby food. It has been as easy as the rice cereal...not easy at all! He is not a fan, but we found he likes bananas and so we are going banana crazy for a while. He is sleeping well at night (about 7pm to 5 am and back to sleep until 7am) and he is doing better with naps. We LOVE watching him grow and discover new things. We are buying our time before he becomes mobile and our world is turned upside down :) We love our boy!

Caleb's Baptism and Family Visits
Caleb's new monkey outfit from Grandma S.
The boy LOVES his daddy!
The new phone Uncle Kyle got Caleb is a big hit.
I think she was using him to cheat :)
Caleb had a great time during the visit from Grandma and Kyle
Caleb's cute outfit
Caleb was baptized on February 28, 2010 at Benson Memorial UMC in Raleigh, NC. He did a great job and was content the whole time. He played with the hymnal to occupy his time. Pastor Skip did a great job on this special day. Caleb just looked at Skip and gave him a look like "what are you doing putting water on my head." Ben and I also joined the church that day. Caleb got a cute stuffed lamb that sings "Jesus Loves Me," a baptism stoll, and the shell he got baptized with. It was a time where Ben and I both feel God's presence and a huge responsibilty to raise Caleb in a home that is in love with Jesus. We feel so blessed that Grandma Skipton and Uncle Kyle were there for Caleb's special day! We loved every moment of their visit and wish it were longer!
