Curls!

Can you believe Caleb is 17 months already? He is a smart, fun little boy! His favorite thing right now is making mommy and daddy sing. He will say Eh-i-oo and then name an animal he wants us to sing about....very cute! He had the whole youth group singing Old MacDonald last Sunday. He continues to love "gars" (cars) and now puts them on the kitchen floor so he can push them faster. He also loves being outside and going "weee" on the slides at the park.

The boy with no hair, now has a head of blonde curls. He gets lots of "ahhh, look at those cute curls!"

Caleb has spent his days lately carrying around a football and wearing some Cars slippers. He learned how to throw his arms up for "touchdown" right in time for the super bowl.

Florida in January!

Caleb and I got the awesome opportunity to go to Clearwater, Florida in January. My mom had a conference and invited us to join her so she could get some quality time with us (mostly Caleb). We stayed at a beautiful Sheraton Hotel right on the beach. The weather was in the 60's (a little cool for them) and the 70's one day. We spent alot of time around the hotel and the staff loved Caleb! He is quite the social boy and loves to be in the spotlight. He even sat on strangers laps in the airport...might have to work on that one!

We went to the Tampa Zoo one afternoon. It was a great zoo! Caleb loved the ehehehe, ah ah (monkeys), penguins, and the giraffes. He loves animals just like his Daddy. He even petted a goat. I was not involved in that one:)

Gaga (grandma) bought him cupcake AND ice-cream...no wonder he looks so happy!

They had this cool safari ride where we could go in the animals cages. We were feet from giraffes, antelope, and lots of birds. Caleb loved it and wanted to go walking around with the giraffes.
