An 11 month old

Happy 11 months, Caleb! Next month we will be celebrating with family and cake! Caleb wants to walk! He is not quite there but he took a few steps yesterday! Grandma and Grandpap Porter were there to witness it! We were all a little shocked. He was so proud of himself for doing it all by himself! He would take a few steps and then purposely fall and then laugh about it. He is a show man already...hmm, where does he get that from? Caleb got to spend the day with Grandma and Grandpap and I think it would be an understatement to say they enjoyed him! Here are some pictures of our 11 month old.

Iowa, you make me smile!

Our recent trip to Iowa was full of family, fun, and sweet corn (well maybe 2 meals). Caleb and I visited the QC while Ben worked hard in BASF's fields in Ames. We were complete when Ben joined us the last couple days of the trip. I was a horrible photographer during the trip and barely got any pictures but our trip consisted of grandparents' love, family reunions, playing with cousins, game nights, yummy meals, and lots of laughing. Here are a few memories of the trip.

Caleb discovered how to open Grandma's kitchen cabinets and found his two favorite things, potholders! He would walk around with them and even napped with them...weird.
