Life in Iowa

We love every moment we are getting with our families! Caleb has already made himself at home at Grandma & Papap's house and Gaga & Grandpa's house. He is maybe a little too obsessed with playing with Lyla and Henry. We can't mention Lyla's name without Caleb repeating it at least 100 times and wanting to go see her.

Caleb's new things right now are: naming letters in the alphabet and numbers (he can only say 2,3,4,8,9), the movie Cars, and playing cars all day everyday. He is learning more and more words and definitely keeps us on our toes. He is a ball of destruction and a sweet cuddler. We love him. I guess we haven't mentioned it on the blog yet, we are expecting baby #2 on February 11th!

Our 5 year anniversary trip to Chicago
Caleb loves to use daddy's screwdriver to "fix"his toys. He is so precise. Just like his daddy...

Caleb ran his first Jr. Bix and Ben ran his first Bix 7. Ben rocked it and ran all 7 miles and said he could have gone longer! Way to go!

Caleb's race was only 70 yards and we had to pull him along the whole way. He just took his time and yelled "wooo" the whole time.

Good bye Raleigh

On June 7th, 2011 our family hit the road for a new adventure. We packed the moving truck (a big one!) and took the 2 day journey to our new home, Davenport, Ia. This move was an answer to prayer but it was still VERY hard to say good bye to all the great people in Raleigh, NC. We left alot of great people but we are so thankful to be in the same town as our family!

Last night in NC watching some Mickey as we finish loading the truck
Good bye NC

A great last group dinner. We were blessed to have such a great small group and we are confident those friendships will continue on for many years to come!

Our church family at Benson Memorial threw us a great fiesta! It was full of LOTS of fun, great people and many hard goodbyes.
