Sitting up!

Welcome to the family!

Lindsay is now a part of the family!  We love her!  And are so thankful we got to be a part of their day!  Caleb was the ringbearer.  I was a bridesmaid and Ben was a groomsman and sang a song.  It was such a beautiful wedding!

Photo: This is grandson Caleb Porter, a handsome dude if I ever saw one, all decked out in his tux. An hour and a half later he and his tux were laying in some sand studying a toy excavator. Same excavator was used to eat mashed potatoes later at the reception. This kid is cool.

5 months!

Happy 4th!

We got brave this 4th of July and had the kiddos stay up for some fireworks.  It was a success!  Dillon fell asleep shortly before they started and Caleb fell asleep during the grand finale.  Not sure how that happens!  Caleb enjoyed them while he was awake!  I love when we start new traditions!

Having fun waitingfor the fireworks.  It was a crazy hot summer and it was REALLY hot that night!

The zoo and some cereal!

Dillon trying out the excersaucer.  I think he likes it!
We got the opportunity to go to Brookfield Zoo with Gaga, Pa, Kyle and Lindsay in June. Caleb loved every part of the zoo!  He is so into animals and knows so much about them thanks to his Ranger Rick Daddy :)  This is Ben and Caleb looking at the rhino.  One of his favorites!  The end of the day was quite eventful when Dillon had a poop blowout on the train.  Lets just say it was one of those moments I won't forget!
Dillon at 5 months trying some cereal.  He is not a big fan.  I am not sure many kids are fans of the cereal but this guy is such a fan of breastfeeding he would just rely on that forever!

Love from California!

We love when the Parrs visit!  Isaac and Caleb picked up right where they left off at Christmas.  They play so well together.  I didn't do well with capturing the visit in pictures but I caught them having a blast in the swimming pool together!

Dillon is loving that he can play with toys!

3 months!

Dillon is such a happy baby!  He is full of smiles and joy!

Smiley and packing on the pounds

Dillon loves to smile and EAT!

Easter 2012

I am still not really sure why we volunteered to host an Easter celebration with a barly 2 month old but we did and it turned out great!  The Skiptons, Porters, and Johnson joined us for lots of yummy food and a great Easter egg hunt.  I am thankful for family!

Caleb was definitely better at finding eggs then he was last year but I think Henry still schooled him :)

Growing Fast!

Dillon grew so fast!  He is such a sweet, low maintenance baby!  He loves to eat and is content most of the time.  Love him!

Life at home

Our family of four makes the most of adjusting to our new life.  A little rough at first especially when I got a fever of 104 degrees 2 weeks after birth.  After a trip to the emergency room, we still don't know what what going on.  Thankfully I had Ben and my mom, and Barbara to help with the boys so I could recover.  Scary time but we made it through!

Brothers!

Caleb was a little unsure of life with a little brother.  But since Dillon came out of the womb with a car for him ;) they started on a good foot!  Can't wait to see them together as they get older!
The first meeting.  Caleb didn't like the hospital bed so it made of an akward meeting!
