What a week! Caleb hit the big 9 months and we had a surprise visit from a great friend! First the Caleb stats...at his 9 month doctor visit he was 17 lb 10oz (10%), 27.5 inches long (30%), and his head was in the 50th percentile. So I guess he is a bit of a peanut these days! It is hard to tell with the rolls on his legs and the cute belly. He is moving towards crawling but is still not there. He loves to stand and can stand when holding on to something. Just today he was trying to pull himself up. Caleb just learned a new trick. If we say "nose" he will grab/ point to our nose. Very cute! He continues to be a happy, talkative, fun baby. What a fun 9 months!
I had the biggest surprise I have gotten since I found out I was pregnant. My friend, Molly Merryman, flew in for a surprise visit! I was so shocked to see her standing with Ben as I met him for lunch. I could not believe it! Molly lives in Bolivia, not North Carolina! I had no clue that she was coming. Ben, who normally can't even keep my christmas presents a secret, had known for a month that she was coming. It was so great to see her! We got lots of quality, much needed time together. She is such a blessing in my life and Ben's life and now Caleb's life! It was so fun watching her love on Caleb. He loved her so much! What a great weekend and I still can't believe Ben didn't spill the beans!
