Christmas in Iowa

Christmas in Iowa was great, fun, and yes...hectic! But nothing is better than time with family. We enjoyed every single moment of it.
Opening gifts with the Skiptons. Uncle Kyle loves mornings :)

Love from Lyla
Nothing like a Superman Snuggi
Iowa got about 9 inches on Christmas Eve. Whats crazy is that Raleigh got 7 inches while we were gone! That never happens!
Caleb loved the snow and wanted badly to walk in it. It was a little difficult!

Daddy showing Caleb how to play in the snow
Not sure what to do once he fell down

Grandma S and Caleb after I dropped the camera in the snow...opps!

Grandmas S, Kyle, Ben and I all went to the Children's museum one afternoon. Caleb loved exploring and touching everything he could.

He was determined to master the bumpy ramp. He did it!

The whole Porter family went to Incredible Pizza to hang out together and celebrate Grandma Linda's birthday. It was a great time. Here is Caleb and Isaac riding a car all by themselves.

Grandma S trying to wear Caleb out before the long, LONG ride back to NC. It seemed to never end but we made it back thanks to the portable DVD player!

We had such a great visit home. He tried to soak up every minute we had being with our family. It never feels like enough time but we are thankful for the time we had! We are blessed to have such great family!
